Wolvie and Punny (tee hee) are anti-heroes too, tis true. The whole "wrong reason/right outcome" applies to them, but they've both got definite heroic (without the "anti") qualities to them. If anything, they'd be tragic heroes, kind of like Batman, but for different reasons.
Haughty spirit and pride make for a wild roller coaster ride!
I mean, as long as you like fairly final endings.

The Punisher is almost a straight up anti-hero. Yes, he's very tragic, but he's not noble, not heroic. He kills bad guys because his family was killed by bad guys (ignoring Punisher: Born and Punisher: The Tyger).

Batman is sometimes an anti-hero, sometimes a tragic hero, sometimes a noble hero. Depends upon how he's being portrayed and circumstances, in my opinion.

I sort of think of Batman as the original super anti-hero, although he's often not nearly as anti-hero as other characters....well, okay, he is in some of the comics. The ones I really hate. But one of his core inspirations was actually a villain from Bat Whispers, which was a hilariously bad movie from the 30s.

So, you're saying that you are a feline first, and an Anthro second? Are naps really more important than duty, pride, and honor? They ought to revoke your Anthro Liscense! As I've said before, what happend to being the the supposed plague againt society that so many people try to claim Anthros are? Why haven't you people overthrown society yet?

When I find a good piece of software for doing surveys, as opposed to anonymous polls (just discovered that phpBB doesn't actually save your votes, only tallys them and marks who has voted... wow the ideal election format) I might run this poll again with more flexable answers.

But at any rate, I'm surprised at how many picked antihero, I'll have to re-evaluate how I balance the projects then. Methinks antihero should have been divided into two groups and innocent bystanders should have too. Oh well.

Anyone want to specific which group of villains/heros/etc they belong to, or does everyone work alone?

I'm clearly Lego's henchman. Though in terms of what I do, I'm more like his right hand man with no dreams of ambition.

Aw heck, if there are too many Antiheroes, I can be a good Hero. (Albeit a cynical one. Like Spider-Man)

I'm more than willing to work in a group or alone in my heroic nature, whichever works for the situation. ^^

I also am willing to work with anyone. The Avenging Eyebrow has no qualms about teamwork, as long as the teammates aren't stupid.

What? Being part of a screaming crowd running for safety count as working in a group.

I mostly work alone, but I can see showing up at another villain's doorstep to sponge crash space, munchies, and death rays off of them.

Okay, and the squirrel's always around.

As I said, I'm property of Legostar... although freelancing certainly isn't above/below me. I tend not to work alone, though... that makes it harder to hide in the back while someone else is used as fodder. You can't be a proper coward when you've got no one to hide behind!

I'd be more of a loaner, though not abject to using plenty of the others as inadvertant pawns in my greater schemes. Playing off of other people's foolish dreams and ambitions is one of life's simple pleasures.

Mmm... tasty mocca of destroyed dreams...
