Reminder on the 2007 St. Louis Comic Cookout

Post by Rkolter »

Just giving you a reminder that the 2007 St. Louis Comic Cookout is up and registering people and the like. *poke* If you planned to come, get your butt registered so I know how many people are showing. :)

Also, the Trip Fund is also up. Vorticus is managing it this year. If you would come, but can't because of financial reasons only, that might be for you. We got several people here last year that way.

http://www.reasonedcognition.com/cookout2007.html

So far 33 people have registered, 21 of them 100% guaranteed to come. That's fully half the entire 2006 cookout size, six months in advance. This is guaranteed to be a heck of a party. It's not limited to ComicGenesis - anyone who does a webcomic or who is a fan of webcomics, is welcome to come.

I've got you down as 50% possible, and requesting to room with someone, with a pity room slot in reserve.

Ok, I researched the CGwiki for previous attendees and have compiled this. Ryan told me to post it. So blame him for all this.

There are 17 people from prior cookouts that have not signed up for this one. Continued editing as time progresses.

I have no clue if I can. Our ship may be out, leave papers, the 3 hour train ride to the airport, so I can't really confirm anything.

I just registered! Thanks for the reminder. :shifty: It's hard to keep on top of things. I don't have any room arrangements yet, though. :(

These cookouts sound pretty cool but I have no idea what I'll be doing in June....

Yeeeah. We calculated the cost... And it's a bit steep. So we are probably going to decline this year.

That's cool. It means I don't have to pay to replace those very expensive flourescent bulbs this year.

Nonsense, that's what donated internet monies are for. Besides, I'm going to kidnap your boyfriend, toss him in the trunk of a car, and drive him down to St Louis. Then you'll have to come just to rescue him.

Now all I need is a driver's license. And a car. And for Lego to stop drinking all the gin.

Very cool. I like your mom. She's put up with a heck of a lot over all the cookouts. She deserves the right to taser you. Or at least first shot at the food.
