Cats rule, dogs drool!
But Homeward Bound 2 is best forgotten... like Never Ending Story 3.

Agreed on both counts.

TRI wrote:True. But is it set in Rhode Island? "Homeward Bound 2" was set in San Francisco but filmed in Philadelphia for some reason.
Given the NYC backdrop, I'm gonna go with "no."

'll start despairing when they make a Dangermouse live action movie. Set in New York. Because that's obligatory for all remakes, wherever they're meant to be set.

Shadow!
Wasn't he the horribly depressed old dog who was content to just give up and die at the bottom of a hole?
What a terrible movie for children.

But he didn't! He overcame his moment of depression!
Yargh, this is why I don't like revisiting childhood classics. Jaded twentysomethings pick up all sorts of horrible details that children don't.

When I was a kid Chance was my favorite, but then I grew up and now Shadow is my favorite. Yes, he was going to give up near the end, but for the rest of the movie he was wise and mature.
And I don't like cats.

Very well. I will dispatch a catwave post-haste to "drown" Escushion.

Shadow is a stupid name for a golden retriever!

That's true. My golden retriever was called Goldie. She would stand up on her hind legs and we would dance.
It's like a big piece of the puzzle was final found!

Mr.Bob danced with dogs?
. . . suddenly the whole world actually makes sense.

God I hope not. I can bitch and moan about Hollywood "raping my childhood", but the truth is I never really liked underdog. DM on the other hand has a long and rich history in my house.

Okay, I'm starting to enjoy not knowing about these movies until the last second. These producers and directors need to die. Die die. Jump up and down and die. Jump around and die. Stab themselves and die. Shoot their legs and die from bleeding. In short, die.
Heh.

I'm not sure I understand, Nyke. When you say "die", what do you mean?

If this turns into a trend, I'm looking forward to see John Woo tackle 'Hong Kong Phooey'...I'll pass, however, on 'Go Go Gophers' and 'Klondike Kat'.
