I don't know how to put an MP3 ringtone on my phone. It might not be possible. I have a really old phone.

It's probably not possible if your phone is old. Mine has a data cable so I can just connect it via usb and put whatever files I want from my computer on the phone, there's some 40-50MB or so of space. That's how I kept updating my comic when my internet wasn't working too. ;)

research your phone and see if it supports "polyphonic ringtones" that's basically MP3 support.

I have a recording of the victory theme from Chrono Trigger/Cross (Fanfare 1). I am cheap so I really mean recording not mp3, held my phone to my computer speakers : P.

Isn't "polyphonic" basically MIDI-ish stuff?

If I had a cell phone, I'm sure I'd put something really lame on it. Accordion-music lame, even. XD

Suddenly, I want "The Gonk" on my cell phone. Yeah, it's not accordian, but it IS Polka, AND zombie approved!

Course, our cell is a Tracphone, so none of that. The last one we had had programmable ringtones, but not this one. Course, all of it's rintones sound like something from a Mega Man game, so I'm okay with that.

My phone goes RING RING! RING RING! But it's like on of those old old day sounding phones. Rotary or whatever. *shrugs*

I think you mean it sounds like a telephone bell. The rotary part of a rotary phone goes "krrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr . . . CLACKCLACKCLACKCLACKCLACKCLACKCLACK!"

I've had one of the tunes from the Matrix as my ringtone for forever.

Like Merc I've had my cellphone for a long time. I think 6 years now, so it still has the midi music. Anyways my ringtone is the Hockey Night in Canada theme; pretty Canadian eh?

So have I, and I listen to it often, actually.

That doesn't make it less lame, though.

i've found that depends on the style of accordian playing, the instrument is regarded somewhat differently in serbia.

See, my just-off-the-plane French grammar TA laughed at me when I commented I liked accordion music. XD

you can just laugh at the TA for being french, accordian music's still cooler than that.

I dunno, there's some pretty cool french people out there, like the Légion Étrangère... wait a minute... The Legion is made up of mostly non-french people, never mind.

God I hate how Serbs treat accordion in folk music. Mainly because in folk music, everything is done so cheaply. But I like how it's used in French music.
I have a friend who uses accordion mostly to play pop and rock and it sounds wonderful. So I concluded that it's a lovely instrument, that it sounds awful only when awful music is played on it. Plus it has a full sound of solo and basses in one place, it can practically be the entire band.
