Here's my plan:

Up at work on the North Slope: find out about zombies on CNN, watch destruction until tv cuts out, spend rest of time playing cards. Because there's no way the zombies are making their way across 1000's of miles of wilderness into the arctic to come get me. This assumes that no one who was infected could get onto a plane and fly up before becoming a full-fledged zombie. If that happened, then probably we would hole up in the trucks or just get all the food out of the kitchen and hang out in rooms. The north slope is pretty safe. The bears'll get the zombies. (assuming you can't have zombie bears)

Where I am now in the UK? probably die. I'm living in a hotel so I could either lock the doors and wait until I starved or be destroyed by zombies. I'd probably break my hotel chair and use a leg as a bat and try to take as many of them with me as I can. I don't know where to find guns, and while I could find bows & arrows, I couldn't use them 'cause I don't know archery.

Rock.

Since zombies are flamable, and always in mass. And since flames can transfer from zombie to zombie + a zombie on fire runs around aimlessly to try and put the fire out thereby lighting at least 3 other zombies on fire,
I can defeat that army with a single book of matches.

Also, for fun, I'd just use a portable lawn mower and molotov coctails.
Not to mention full kevlar body armor and acid coated wolverine claws if I run out of ammo.

Kevlar > teeth.

Yeah, except while they're running around on fire, they'll be setting other things on fire that aren't zombies. Because they can't feel pain and don't die unless the brain is destroyed, they'll be walking around on fire for quite awhile before they fall, potentially setting alight everything in their path. That could end up being very dangerous for you and other survivors. It's not as fool-proof and efficient as you'd think. In fact, the Zombie Survival Handbook warns against this method.

Hmmm... a fried chicken catapult may just be the answer to that zombie problem...

One note on the nature of my plan:
I currently reside on the inner side of the outer perimeter of a university town. There are 130 000 potential Z's in the greater municipality, a great number of them students, which puts them relatively close to Z's already, or at least Z-bait. I reside right next to one of the greater student living areas.

I'd hold position as long as tenable, then run away from the general direction of likely Z and Z-bait concentration, which means woods and to some extent fields.

Also note: Molotov cocktails are a good idea, though you want to use them only when property damage is not an issue and there is little to no danger of uncontrolled fires (read: don't use them during a heatwave or dry period).
Also, they're best used when beating feet. Against the ground. Going away from the Z's.
Quite helpful really, a burning Z is kind of visible, and it's always a good idea to make whatever you are running away from as visible as possible before breaking contact, so you it won't be able to sneak up on you once you think you've broken contact.

I'm also afraid that until I reach the airbase and somehow acquire a weapon (which admittably is unlikely unless I get real lucky, and acquiring ammo is even more unlikely), I'm also only going to be armed with a light stick, good for swinging, but I wouldn't be able to break anything until the Z's have decomposed a bit.
