damnit, I wish I'd seen this thread last week when I was home. I don't have any new pics (my parents adopted a kitten in May), but I've always loved this pic of the most ferocious animal alive today.

his name is smokey. his hobbies include biting and snarling when you do not pet him in the one place he allows petting, growling about his arthritis and occassionally trying to take down small deer.

He's an evil bullying meanie to other cats and a total attention whore to people.

But he lives with the best cat in the world, who we need to clone and sell copies of for millions of dollars.
Close. It's from http://hitlercats.motime.com/ .
Meh. Those look like Chaplin cats to me....

This one looks the most like Hitler:

Note:

Today Flint officially graduated to "cat" from "kitten" - he caught himself a bird! A real, flight capable robin, in fact. He brought it home proudly to daddy, and looked at me like I was insane when I pried his mouth open and let the (shaken, but generally uninjured) bird go.

He got lots of catnip and lots of pets.

Flint is now a birdcatcher!

I do the same when Sparky brings me a mouse. Thankfully, they're usually dead.

Inazuma isn't named after that samurai in Usagi Yojimbo by any chance, is she?
Yes and no. I know that word thanks to Usagi Yojimbo but they were named for their patterning and habits. Inazuma (lightning) will zig zag back and forth at high speed to chase things whereas Kaminari (thunder) gallops around the house on thunderous feet.

If he broke the skin at all that bird is as good as dead, unfortunately. Cat saliva is loaded with bacteria, and even small bites often prove fatal for the tiny wildlife they tend to attack.

Her favourite sleeping position always made her look like a boat to me:

Speaking of cats, we found fleas on little Klaus last night, and had to spray the whole lot of them this morning. There's nothing quite like the sound (and smell) of a household full of wet, stinky, miserable cats.

I gave my two kitties baths yesterday. They weren't amused.

They're softer now. Happiness is a soft kitty.

No... I think she was washing her belly and got suspicious when we came near her with a camera.
She gets really offended if you laugh at her - which we did a lot when she was fat. We still do, but that's because her diet - although it caused her to lose weight - left her with quite a bit of extra skin.
She can have wings!
I will take pictures.

:( You know guys, letting a cat get fat isn't very healthy for her.

I wish I had pictures of my dearly departed Nemo. (Sniff sniff) he was a Maine Coon cat and one of the best pets anyone could have. Poor fella!

In his honor, however, I shall post this: Smokey vs Cho Enjoy.
