My natural inclination is towards Anarchyspace because, well, anarchy rocks. And in an environment like the forums, anarchy would actually work as opposed to in real life where people seem to have this desperate need for order. But I'm afraid of Jim North.

But I like parties, and I'd like gold for my mad science. Although really I'd prefer some Ruthenium, 'cause that's way more expensive than gold, and much more catalytically useful. However, I notice that Partispace is not advertising free alcohol or even soft drinks, and what kind of a party is that?

I suggest that the evil and intelligent among us support the party most likely to win... i.e., tells the most lies, consolidate their power under one roof and secretly work for their own gains behind the proverbial throne. This will allow a smooth transistion as various persons embed mind controling code into the HTML and harness the power of ComicGenesis members for their own selfish and satisfying gains, at which time they proceed to take over the world with well drawn and written propaganda also with embedded mind controling technology.

That, ladies and gentlemen, is worth far more than a mere 10,000 gold.

Well, I was torn for a minute between sticking with anarchyspace or joining up with partyspace...but I think I'll just keep the family together, and stick with anarchy space.

I'd like to announce the formation of a new party, the Reformed Lurker Party!

As the candidate for the Reformed Lurker Party, I, BrownEyedCat, advocate a hands off approach to the running of GD.

I have a long history of residency in KeenComicGenesisSpace, even after moving off the host, and a good record of not-being-a-jerk in the forums and the jams.

I also have a policy of not flooding forums with political threads, which is why this announcement is made here, and will be cross-posted in the Illuminati thread.

I'm just the most active member of AnarchySpace and only party leader in name. Everyone in AnarchySpace is actually in charge of themselves, so there's no reason to fear me.

What AnarchySpace fails to address, is the track record of "perfect societies". Where is the plan to keep GD from falling under the power of a dictator? Human nature is to seek the most power, and without a failsafe to prevent an autocrat from taking over, the goals of AnarchySpace will have been lost. The PartiGenesis is comitted to the goals and ideas of democratic representation, and seeks to ensure that every GDer's voice will be heard by the government.
