Did Hell freeze over?

So it's 2am and I just finished my problem set, and as is usual for where I live, someone is blasting music.

But... but.. they played "Burnin' for You" by Blue Oyster Cult and now it's "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne and I thought it was some kind of immutable law of the universe that people blasting music at 2am always blast stuff you hate! What the hell!

Play it Randy! WOOT!

But... who are these people and how do I become their friend? Dammit!

Follow the music! The music! And take them beer and an air guitar. I hear you can buy air guitars on eBay, go! GO!

I have no beer. And it is past 1 am so I can't get any. I do have an air guitar, though, I've had it for a while.

And then they played Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall"

Damn, who are these people? I'd shout at them but I don't think they could hear me.

I figured this thread was about Elf Only Inn updating.

(shakes a fist in the direction of a certain wig-factory.) :x

That would have been worth it.

W00t for good music being played randomly!
At the moment I'm trying NOT to blare my music because my little brother (whose room is immediately above mine) will wake up and whine about it. Especially since my music list sometimes jumps from Ozzy to orchestra-ish music to megaman to Pantera to Queen to Perfect Circle to .... yeah. On and on. Go random! <3

It's almost three in the morning and here I sit on the forums and I'm not sure why... But I'm animating buttercats and Turkish and my pinkface guy and getting up every fifteen minutes to skip off these weird bursts of energy.

Damn my procrastinating ways.
It will all be over on thursday. And Friday I get drunk off my face and feel better about the whole thing. Hooray!

At least the people living near you don't have a drumset...

She says while I sit here listening to the bloke over the corner fence belting away at his drums... :)

He's not too bad, actually. It's not heavy thrash sort of crap, so I don't mind. Sometimes it actually fits with the birds calling through the eucalypts.

I'm pretty sure nobody will play my sort of music loud at 2 AM...

Thanks for the new excuse, guys. I wasn't updating because I was too busy growing hair.

I was once really excited when I was walking down my street and heard people playing really awesome music. Then I realised when I got home that it was coming from OUR house, it was just reverberating all the way down the street.

My advice to find them is to go over. Bring beer.

The neighbor kid had a drum set but he gave up on it after about a year, thankfully.

Damn neighbor kids. *shakes cane*

I lived one summer next to Fraternity Row.

July 4th (in America) + drunken fratboys + fireworks + ROTC cadet= lots of dropping to the prone.

a graduate student of my father's moved to the states during the bombings in serbia, she moved here just before the fourth of july... that was not a good evening for her.
