Nah, this thing's way louder.

It looks really cool. The black drum head looks awesome. I can't imagine it being piercingly loud, but I will take your word for it.

Ooh, I wanna be in it! I wanna share snare drum responsibilities with PAL!

I was going to be a drummer in high school, but waking up at 6am every day and buying your own shit...not for me.

Thehead is made of fabric and can cause a regular drum to cave in from the tension it creates. Imagine the sound of playing on a formica counter top, but louder and with more body. It's very dry and high-pitched; it sounds a lot like a Scottish pipe snare.

But... but.. they played "Burnin' for You" by Blue Oyster Cult and now it's "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne and I thought it was some kind of immutable law of the universe that people blasting music at 2am always blast stuff you hate! What the hell!

Play it Randy! WOOT!

But... who are these people and how do I become their friend? Dammit!
It's actually not that rare for people to blast one of the three local classic rock stations broadcasting in any given city.

If I imagined this, my head might very well explode. D:

That can't be good for one's hearing.

I love marching drum stuff. There's so much going on. I mean, I'm a guitar player firstly, but I still love watching the drummer every show I go to.

Also, I support CG rock band at the cookout!

yeah yeah, i know its impossible and if it were, we'd get thrown out, but still...

I like my neighbourhood.
Even though they're building subdivisions all around us, it's still pretty quiet out here, even in the daytime.

Although we don't get to hear coyotes howling and yipping anymore - the construction workers chased them away.

The loudest this town ever gets is in June on the weekend of the Spring Fair - which I won't be here for this year because I'LL BE IN ST LOUIS WITH ALL THE COOL PEOPLE.

Better yet, check out a drum & bugle corps like Blue Devils or Cadets of Bergen County.

Hey, I don't *need* the radio to blast BOC and Ozzy, thankyouverymuch.
