The french have a law passed that means they can't put things into bread that keeps it fresh. They have to bake new bread everyday. It's the law.

that EVERYONE cannot bake bread with preservatives in it.

the only exception to that rule is when making peanut butter and jelly or fluffernutter sandwiches. wonder bread is really the only bread that works when making those.

I'm a bread snob, my mommy bakes orgasmicly good bread, and there is no comparison between that crap everyone buys in plastic bags at the grocery store and real fresh-baked bread.

funny story (at least I think so): my mom owns several dogs, and like all pet owners, she spoils them by feeding them scraps. occassionally she doesn't have time to bake, so she runs to the store and buys bread off the shelf. THE DOGS WON'T EAT IT. they will eat homemade bread and just about anything else you can think of, but not store bought bread. which makes me wonder, what is in store bought bread?

I like going to bakeries and getting real bread. I don't like store-bought bread either. When I get the time I'm going to learn to make my own bread. I already make my own cake and it rules.

Sawdust and ground-up rat bones.

You know, for the texture and the calcium.

My favorite bread is the "Asiago Cheese Demi" from Panera bread. It's nice and chewy, and quite delicious!

Panera Bread/St Louis Bread Co. Rocks! I used to eat there nearly once a week at my old job.

Stupid customs. They fear small metal impliments being smuggled in through bread so much, they deprive the rest of us of delicious Serbian breads!
