I've just learnt my uncle, aunt and co. are going down to Bob-land some time soon, so... those delicious waffle things are mine.

I forget what they're called and I'm too lazy to go upstairs and look, but it starts with an N. Napolenke or something. I forget.

But they come in lemon-orange and chocolate-cream and they're SO GOOD.
I rhink I know what your talking about. And if they are. If you chew em up, and spit it out in the toilet, it kinda resimbels puke. Did it a many times back when I was little, to act like I was sick, so I didnt have to go to school.
... :o

That's... an interesting way to keep out of school. I wonder if it would have worked at my house...
But such a waste of such yummy cookies:

It's strategic planning. Sacrifice a few, then get the rest of the box when you home, and no one is around. :D

I had a stay-at-home Mom though... no sneaking around.

We were very sneaky when it came to cookies - but my mom learned fast. She could smell a cookie thief from across the property, I swear.

Holy heck! Josip Krash! :o
I grew up with those cookies too because Krash is a Croatian brand. It used to be the major sweets manufacturer in old Yugoslavia. They even kept the original Serbo-Croatian name, napolitanke.

How'd you get a hold of that?

I... have no idea. Dad went grocery shopping and came home with two boxes. Maybe the Price Chopper nearby started stocking them - they stock some random stuff sometimes.

I understand that Krash maybe expanded and started exporting their stuff.
But how could he grow up with them? I don't think they were exporting back in Yugoslavia. Or were they? :-?

*adds one line to his "funny coincidence" wall*
