That has the scent of a Micheal Moore reference...

You, sir, need to be cleansed.

I found it a little over the top. But then, I have issues when it comes to politics.

I actually didn't watch all of it, I sat outside for most of it...but I did catch the montage song, and the panthers...and those parts are good! So from there I make my basic assumption that the rest is good, too.

Team America?
It has some laughs, but it was completely aimless. Who are they laughing at? What's their stance? What is the point of all of that.
South Park folks always have this problem: they come off as if they want to send a message, but after halfa movie it turns out that they don't know which message. When their satire doesn't come across good, it turns into a melodrama. These problems are more obvious in Team America than in anything they did so far. Some times, you really don't know whether something was ment to be serious melodrama or just an unsuccesful joke. And some times, instead of laughing with them, you laugh at them, like in infamous sex scene. You simply go: "What idios" and laugh. It's all too much hit and miss.
Though at those rare times you laugh, you really crack. Like "Perl Harbour" song.

The joke in Team America was that EVERYBODY is an idiot. They don't take sides. Watch it again with that in mind and you'll laugh your ass off.

The sex scene was making fun of other 'drama-action-comedy' movies that have an inexplicable and gratuitous scene for no real reason other than to show off the starlette's tits.
And the unrated sex scene is fucking hilarious.

I missed the sex scene.

And, in general, I love South Park. It's wacky and fun!

Was the unrated sex scene where they included the five extra minutes worth of hot, splintery puppet sex that they cut out of the movie to get it down to an R rating?
