Today in English 12, we got on the topic of George Bush being a hero to some people. It erupted into a huge argument about how 9/11 was a sit up by Dubya........blah, blah, blah

I never got to add my two cents into the agrument, so here's what about I think about the whole situation.

Personally I have nothing against him, but I think he's a *says in French accent* Dumas and should be throw out of office. I don’t like the way the nation has been managed since 9/11. I mean.....

I was born 1989, so practically grew up in the 90's. America was much more happy-go-lucky in the 90's then it is now. I mean back then we didn’t have any major wars with anybody, nobody really hated America [with the exception of the Middle East], and I never had to live with the fears that I do now.

The whole Iraq thing was what made me hate bush even more than I already did. We went over there on false information….(they have yet to find the WMD).....calming that we were doing it to liberate the Iraqi people…..

And up until his presidency I would have never consider moving outside of the US…….

For everyone who lives in the US I want to know your opinions.

For everybody outside of the US I want to hear your perspective too.

....and yes, I'm bold enough to bring American Politics to the forum

What do you mean America was more happy-go-lucky in the 90's? When has an entire nation EVER been happy-go-lucky?

The only difference is that the problems we're facing now are just different than the ones in the 90's. I'm not saying we shouldn't be outraged at the problems, but it doesn't mean that the past was all that great.
