if this is inherent in all human beings, what would intelligence have to do with anything? if anything, wouldnt less intelligent people be able to read this better, as they have less conditioning/inclination towards "proper" english?

Yeah, I didn't understand that either. That's just what the thing said. Seems like it's more of a psychology thing than an intelligence thing.
