I'm missing out? You don't even get Tim Tams - and you should ask some of our English forum members about Jaffa Cakes some time.

And what do you guys have instead? Oreos. Boring.

If you were trying to make a point about our lame cookies, you probably shouldn't have unwittingly picked my favorite cookie of all time ever as an example.

But the fact you like them doesn't make them good.

Now Fox's Golden Crunch Creams, those are good.

Don't forget the old standard favourite, Joel, the chocolate teddy bear biscuits!

What you eat when you can't afford Tim Tams.

Come, my fellow system lords, let us indulge ourselves in some Jaffa cakes! Surely they are quite fine, and made with 95% real Jaffa! 5% Tau'ri, but that just makes it even better, right?

Well, they are awfully good. I'm afraid I can only let them go for recipies of equal or greater value. Image

And... Uh... One of the best ones was taken off the side of a Cornflakes packet shortly after The Empire Strikes Back came out so it has a slightly odd name. ("Darth Vaders")

I'd still prefer "Bing Bang" over "Beanbag" (which is kinda how I first read it  )

Not to derail this fascinating conversation about Cookies, but I was thinking about maybe answering the original question.

Instead, I will just say that the origin of my online psuedonym is literary in nature. I use it for everything online nowadays. I've been meaning to give myself a last name to go wth it, so that I can use it for stuff that requires a full name where I don't really feel like giving my real name, but I am uninspired at the moment.

When I first came online I went by the name Goldfang, but I learned the hardway never to name myself after one of my characters. Later I went by a few others, but they were all rejected because by then everyone seemed to know my real name. It is a historical fact that when people try to give me nicknames, they fail. Anyone who knows or learns my real name inveribly calls me by it (or, more annoyingly, a shortened version of it).

One day I will snap and kill them all, I'm sure.

And now back to cookies: My mom used to make chocolate crinkles (which I call continent cookies) and I have never tasted a cookie half so delicious or entertaining. None shall ever stand up to their might.

Cookies that are entertaining? Do they tell constant jokes and read you bedtime stories? :D
