I'm known as TheSuburbanLetdown at other places. The name is rather self-explanatory.

Fine, since you're all DYING to know...

Boring story:
Cookie is a nickname my friends picked for me when I got tired of using my real name. They came up with lots of weird nicknames, but Cookie is the one that stuck... mainly because I'm "the one who likes to bake" in my circle of friends (and a total sweet-tooth).

Meh, that's like, three years ago now. I don't have time for baking anymore. But anyway... now you knooow. :P

Her kryptonite is revealed, and it's something with which I'm exceptionally skilled. Mwa-hahahahahahaha. :)

What should I make for the cookout, I wonder? My special double fudge brownies, my sky-high cinnamon rolls, or my patented chocolate souffle... ;)

Blackaby is the name of my comic.

I have way too many internet nicknames to count, although I've started to wander about under my real name, rather than variations of it.

BrownEyedCat . . . is actually from some of my horrible High School poetry. No, you can't read any. Anyway, I do have brown eyes, and identify with cats (massively surprised, are you?).

My previous nickname was actually taken from my high school French class. It's a merging of the spelling and pronunciation of Catherine in French. We all got to pick French names, you see.

well when I started chatting on the web in the mid 90's I was also a DJ known as "Auntie_phactorri" (anti-factory) which was akin to social ramifications at the time. later when I started the solo project musically I cut off the auntie part.

And since I was known as "phactorri" elsewhere and wanted my comic to be linked with those who liked my music... I went ahead and just used it here.

I'll vote for brownies - they travel better than the other two.

by Vorticus
I've only been using Vorticus since I got here, now I use it everywhere. However, I have been using the yorp as an avatar since I started on the web. Since I use the yorp so often, I wanted to have a name to go with it. Ones like Commander Keen and Yorpy just didn't sound right (Commander Keen is the name of the game yorps come from) so I picked Vorticus (a planet name from the same game). And there you have it.

I go by mrs_rkolter here. And yes, I'm really married to rkolter.

My orignal handle was Redabeth back in 1994. Started out with just "Red" but it was taken. Added the last part of my name "Elizabeth" and there you go. I occassionally used that nick. Those who know that nick are usually from the chatroom Ryan and I hooked up in.

Other nicks I've used are solarstorm. I'm a sun sign and was reading about solar storms at the time. Hence the nick. My latest one is 4_elements. I chose that due to my country roots and my appreciation of nature.

But, yeah, ppl always compare me to a wierd Rob they know.
And yes I'm a psyco myself.

Not long ago, we had just purchased this computer. We had an AOL trial and I made good use of that horrid dial-up prison while I could. I needed an email... Obviously I'm not going to use my real name, but I have no good nicknames. Hmmm..*ponder*

Let's try this... "taken"
How about this one? ... "taken bitch"
...Maybe this one? "*slap* Taken biatch!"
...How about Crossfire? (a word that suddenly popped into my head for the same reason that I decided to drop my pants for the first time) ... "Taken, foo!"

Screw this, add a 225 on it. "accepted"

A year later I stumbled onto these fora and I still had no good nicknames, so I used Crossfire. If I could go back and use a different nick I would, but can't. And as we all know a name is tied as closely to a person as their face. And unfortunatly for me changing you're face is quite a painfull expierience... And I still don't have any good nicknames. (other than Carlin which I've begun to use in other places, but it doesn't matter around here)

And there you have it! Tis a lame story indeed... But then, so am I. *drops his pants*

by Lei
I first started using the handle 'Lei' in early middle school. I was obsessed with Star Wars as a little kid, and when my friends and I played at being Jedi out in the woods, I was always 'Lei Kim Ness,' (Lei is a shortening of the phonetic pronunciation of my middle name, Lane) who later became my first online roleplaying character on a site called Jedi.net. LKN got shortened to Lei, and, well, it stuck. Lei, EternaLei, or and varyation of those with a 777 after it have been my pseudonyms online since, and Lei has even become my real life nickname. Come to think of it, I don't think my boyfriend's family even knows what my real name IS...

by Mooman
Whenever millionaire playboy/mild-mannered reporter Chug Husky drinks a pint of milk without stopping, he becomes: THE MOOMAN!!!!!

The Mooman was a superhero I made up when I was about 14. He was basically a flying cow with a cape. I started using 'Mooman' as an online handle instead of my usual lot, which usually involved custard (Captain Custard, Custardman, etc etc etc).

I've stuck with 'Mooman' for ages, although about a year ago I started to faze it out in favour of 'Binbag McGraw' who is a rebel cowboy, using the nick in all my online games (and frequently being called 'Bing Bang' by idiots who can't read). However, 'Mooman' seems too entrenched here for me to change it.

Dammit.
