If you've noticed and you may have. I'm using the elemental dancers I did to make a 2006 calendar. I'd like to put quotes about the season, winter spring summer and fall, and the elements, water air fire and earth, into the calendar. I am having no luck searching so I thought I'd ask you guys You usually are quite helpful.

I don't understand how people can be depressed in the winter. In no other season do you get to cover yesterday's dirt and grime with a new blanket of pure white every morning.

Ah, well, in some places what happens is that the air is filled with horizontal icewater and yesterday's dirt gets pounded into mud.

Emily Dickinson is my favorite poet, and I'm pretty sure she did poems for every occassion, including the seasons.

For Earth, for example:

The Mountain sat upon the Plain

I like this one for Fire:

I think it was "Speak to the Earth and it shall teach thee." Somewhere in the book of Job, saw it on another nature calendar once.
