In the future, time machine-related violence will go up by 23%.

Act now by sending 2$ a month over time-mail to help a victim of time machine violence. Your contributions could change their as-yet-nonexistant lives.
This is going in my notebook titled "Things I Didn't Know about Surface Dwellers."

As of 1997 flux capacitors were patented and have been used since in circuitboards. THE FUTURE IS THEN!!

1.21 Jiggah-watts!!!
It was supposed to be "gigawatts", but the guy that Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis called mispronounced it as "jiggowatt". Being unfamiliar with electrical units, Zemeckis and Gale thus spelled it as "jiggowatt" in the scripts.
Listen to the DVD commentaries, why don't you?
Jiggowatts 4evah!

And Pillywiggin, my personal ranking of the trilogy from best-to-worst is 3, 1, 2. Three is best 'cause it has the train sequences. And Doc and Marty in the Old West is great.
Then one 'cause it's first, obviously. It pioneered the whole damn series.
Then second, cause it went back into the first movie. And the future. Which was freakin' sweet.

I have.

I'm just completely dumbfounded that there wasn't at least one special effects expert or audio tech or janitor going to nightschool that stood up ad said they were saying it completely wrong.

Great Scott! :o

By posting this, we've unintentionally changed the course of history. Can't you see? This was supposed to be just another fanservice post, or maybe a poll, Marty.

Now we have to go back and stop ourselves from posting this thread, without letting us see that we're on the forum. That's very important, because we don't want to destroy the space-time contin-you-um!

Quick! :x

There you go with this "heavy" again. Is there some problem with the earth's gravity field in the future?

Bah! The Oscillation Overthruster is where the REAL potential lies. Why go around screwing with time when the dangers of such behavior are obvious? Better to invade and conquer alternate dimensions, without having to worry about becoming your own grandfather, or accidentally handing Biff the keys to the kingdom. Besides, in time travel, there's a little something called the Morphail Effect which acts as a cosmic fail-safe. If you screw up too much of the past, you get spat out of the timestream altogether. And then nobody will be able to find you without an Oscillation Overthruster. Think on THAT, John Smallberries!!!

And besides, every time I've been to the future, it was different each time. Here's the only snapshot I took that didn't fade out and disappear.

So that's a yes on the flying cars. Unfortunately, only the ruling caste gets to own them. If this picture changes or disappears in the next couple of days, it's probably something YOU did.

Oh, wait. No more flying cars.

But the Overthruster draws alien invaders like flies. And if you don't calibrate it just right, you go insane and try to help those alien invaders take over the galaxy!

Aliens aren't so bad once you get to know them... uh, I mean...

No! There are no aliens at all! What gave you that idea? It's perfectly safe, I tell you!

Well, at least they still have the Arcanum and Ale & Wenches fonts in the future.
