Recommended Webcomic Reading?

Post by Levi-chan »

Dude. A 150kb/s workplace pipe, and I'm out of things to torrent or download or stream. That's just plain wrong. :p

So...what's your recommended reading, folks? Mine's:

Perry Bible Fellowship - This dude's batshit insane. And I like it.
A Heart Made of Glass - Emoest thing ever.
Nowhere Girl - Bestest thing ever.

(Also - sorry if this thread is redundant or something. I'll delete it if so - just let me know. :) )

Catharsis- It's like a little birdhouse in my soul. ^_^
No Rest for the Wicked- Given MM, it's easy to see why I love this one. :D
Narbonic- One of the consistantly best comics I read, and has been for the last four to six years.
MacHall- Classic. Still love the Littlest Elder God.
Acid Reflux- Five year old God and her pet universe Irving. Something inside me died the day the comic went down. T_T

I concur wholeheartedly! :D

And, to add something actually useful to the thread:

Count Your Sheep - Just cute!
Skinny Panda - Cute and bittersweet and sometimes evil...
Norm And Cory - A beautifully drawn (Disney-ish) webcomic about forrest animals that gets way too little credit imho.
Slow Wave - I haven't read through the whole archive yet, but I find the concept interesting. It's a "collective dream diary authored by different people from around the world, and drawn as a comic strip"... If you like stuff that's a little unusual. :)
...the others I'd recommend, everybody knows anyhow, so I won't bother. :P

P.S.: Yes, I like cute. Don't judge me.

I also like cute:

Faux Pas - A cute and funny comic about farm animals.
You Say it First! -A cute comic about a young couple in a standoffish relationship
Angry D Monkey -It has Ton, who is always cute, not to mention the Teros for a limited time.
TwoKinds - A cute furry comic I plug at every opportunity

And I guess I can also recommend Comic Creatorz to anyone who draws a webcomic.
What Lies Beyond - A Psychological Fantasy Novel

I also did phbites.comicgenesis.com and hntrac.comicgenesis.com way back when.

Jack - VERY dark, NSFW comic with anthro characters dealing with the afterlife.

Umlaut House - Furry Hijinks. Maybe NSFW

Misfile - Intriquing premise

Venus Envy - Not sure about the update shcedule anymore, but the archives are worth a read.

Schlock Mercenary - Sci-Fi awesomeness, daily updates.

Anywhere but Here - Good

Catharsis

Goblin Hollow

Nip and Tuck

Tales of the Questor

These comics (with the exception of ABH; its archive wasn't that large when I found it) sucked about two to three months out of my life, burning through the archives when I should have been working/doing other things.

That's two to three months where everything else took second priority =3

Enjoy?

I've been bugging her to update =/

Here's some good stuffs for y'all that you probably've never heard of ...

The Avatar... crazy random humor
The Children of Moloch... surreal, drug-inspired experiences with great art
Distant Screaming... goofy characters in a bleak setting...
Hellbound... adorable supernatural comic
This Modern World... great political cartoon with a neat retro art style
The Third Rail... a bizarre comic with a very neat concept and a cool "doodled this in class" charm
Time Pig... has a strange innocence that keeps bringing me back

What luck, I just updated my webcomic links gallery with all the stuff I'm currently reading.

I'm too lazy to post it all here, and I'm betting y'all are too lazy to follow the link, but . . . I don't really have anything else to add to this sentence.

I can't link to all the comics I read, so here's a links page I have...

http://pages.prodigy.net/1157/links/webcomiclinksAM.htm

...even though the site built around it has no actual content. Kind of funny, yes?

No?

shat.

We've had other threads like this before, and I've posted longish lists in them.

I want to add a new one that I just found, though: Dr. McNinja. As I said it's new, but there is talent there and a whole lot of funny. :)

I recently stumbled on a comic called get medieval, read the archives (it's just over four hundred strips as of now, updates daily). Differs from most of the other comics I read in that it's a livejournal comic.

Also, I really like A Miracle of Science.

Least I Could Do is one of my favorite webcomics for its adult oriented humor. It's funny, has great art, and is consistent. I highly recommend devoting the time to going through the archives.[/url]
