Actually, that was a knee-jerk reaction based on the fact that I have several self-esteem problems, but then I actually went up and read your list (cause who the hell actually
reads all these? Except the weirdos...) and it's pretty respectable (except I hates a lot of the new 'metal' and 'rock' bands out just now...).
But lack of Iron Maiden makes it crumble. The X-Factor's one of their lamest albums! Expand it, post-haste!!
But anyone who owns all of Motorhead's albums can

with pride.

Well, to clarify my confusingly written post: it's not that their melodies don't hit me, it's that I find their sound slightly grating after a while--like a guy who TALKS REALLY LOUD all the time, even though you're standing right next to him. But that, even more than the melodies, is a matter of personal taste!
And to clarify my confusingly written post: Yeah, that's kinda what I meant. You can't argue with someone who just doesn't like a certain melody. I'm that way with some of the classic Cheap Trick tracks. Surrender and I Want You To Want Me just piss me the hell off. Especially Surrender. XTC is kinda like that too, though I tend to like them more often.
So yeah. Personal taste.

It's hard not to be a Brucey fan when you're such a big Maiden fan as I. Despite that, I must admit that Bruce's solo stuff kicks all the 90s Maiden stuff thoroughly in the rear.
