...communism is sound in theory, but flawed in the fact that it relies on humans. A community of computers, operating soley on logic without human emotions or desires, would be able to create a successful communist state.
Additionally, small, 100% voluntary societies can successfully implement communism if it is every members' desire to do so successfully.
For all practical purposes, though, Communism will not work on a LARGE scale because it will draw from a larger pool of people, and thus guarantee the inclusion of corrupt individuals who will bring the system down, not to mention that if it is forced as a government, ANYONE not in full support of it serves as a "weak link"
