The bestest thing ever

As of last Friday I finally got a non-dialup internet connection in my new apartment. For the whole summer my only access has been through my mom's computer which is on dial-up...a very slow dial-up with and "accellerator" that pre-compresses every image to something near the level of "crap" to give the illusion of semi-decent speed. Since I had to choose between using my computer or getting mollasses-speed internet I've been on a bit of a forum hiatus. But I am back now!!
I've also got a new apartment, I'm all living independent and on my own. And it's too damn expensive.

Fast internet makes me waste time more efficiently. For example, I'm here right now, and will soon post on a different forum, and then another. All in the span of 3 mintues.

I had dial up for years! Why, back in my day, we were GLAD to have dial up. We had to use cans and string most days. And sometimes, we didn't have string!
But, nowadays broadband is the thing. Welcome to the evergrowing club.
