Xmen- great
Xmen 2- even better
Spiderman- great
Spiderman 2- great
Hellboy- great
Batman Begins- Fan-friggin'-tastic.

Fantastic 4- middle of the road, hedging on bad

Hulk- kinda not-good
Daredevil-aweful
Catwoman- normally don't judge 'les I've seen it, but aweful regardless

I have seen neither Sin City nor The Punisher, so I can't say on those. Overall? Odds are good, but I'd be safe and say it's half and half.


What would REALLY rock would be not a movie, but an animated series of Powers. Like it'll happen, eh? But I can wish.
Lets not forget
Constantine: not so good
Elektra: fight with Catwoman for crappy movie of the century.
What about "Blueberry" and "Jeremiah" series?
(haven't seen them, the second one has got to suck, though, it has Luke Perry in it)

You know, I kind of liked Constantine. Granted it wasn't as good as say X-Men or Spiderman, but it wasn't bad. The frightening thing though is then other then not being blond or british I think Keanu Reeves played the character fairly decently.

well this is what made Constantine, have no relation to hellblazer in my opinion. as the comic is more about the character and less about killing supernatural. bleh.

Blueberry was good. I loved Mars Attacks, an we can't forget stuff like LXG.

Having read the comics, I kinda wish I could forget LXG. The movie was okay, not fantastic, but enjoyable. But the COMICS... those were incredible.

I didn't like the first volume of LXG, but the second series was quite good. course I'm not the biggest Moore buff. ^_^

This occured to me: Did anyone ever made a superhero movie on a new character, not taken from comic? Apart from "Orgasmo", that is.

Was he a super hero? It's been ages since I've seen it, so I dunno. He doesn't have super powers, but batman doesn't either so I guess he could be.

I guess "Mystery Men" was a super hero movie.

Someone should make some original super hero movies. I'm suprised there haven't been more of those.

Accordign to Bruce Campbell's book, Sam Raimi made Darkman because he 'wanted to do a Superhero movie' and Universal wouldn't let him have the rights to The Shadow.

I was gonna say The Incredibles, but I was thinking more on the spectrum of live-action movies.

The Incredibles is fantastic by the way.

Is the Phantom original? I know the Shadow was a radio serial . . .

Oooh yeah. I actually liked that movie as a kid. I have no idea if it's good or not....such things didn't matter back then.
