College was 3905458943959 times better then highschool- I loved every class! It's so much better when you are learning what you want to learn.

I believe it.
In highschool, I got into two art classes in my entire four years. TWO!

My first semester schedule for college has only one non-art class.

i actually had more art classes in highschool than in college, but that's what I get for taking 5 semesters of 4-D art.

4-D art, Lego?
What would that be, creative tampering with the space-time continuum? :)

That's what they called our computer art class, wherein i learned to use photoshop, bryce, and the like. We used to say it was 4-D art because it wasted time and took up space. by the 5th semester of it the assignments were usually "learn this program and teach me so i can teach the new kids how to use it"

Couldn't any piece of 3-D art that is designed deliberately to change through time be considered a piece of 4-D art? Like a sculpture that moves and changes?

Probably, that's not what we did though. Though we did make movies in premiere which I guess would count as 4-D

So a water balloon that is prodded and squeezed could be 4d art? Trippy.

You picked a number evenly divisible by three.

I bet she had it planned all along that way.

My highest class size to date is around 35. My college prides itself on small class sizes.

Of course, it enjoys putting the basic art class in one time, so it's constantly at the same time as other classes I need to take.

I managed to get a very good schedule this semester: I don't have any classes on TTr and I'm finished by 1pm on Fridays :D. Classes start at 9am but at least it's better than 8am.

I met all sorts of people that were definitely cooler than the people I met in high school.

Also there was less busy work in high school.

(BTW, pettysenshi- my biggest class had 500 students, and my smallest class only had 8 )
The city goes to sleep at 10 pm, has 3 bars and they're only full pn thursday.
It's a dead town to say the least so going out a lot isn't an option.

Be glad you were so luck, not everybody is.

I have about 7 times more work now that we have to make 7 yearworks at the same time. 15 yearworks in the third grade even.
All of the yearworks are around 20 pages of coding.

Classes with us are usually around 10, 120 or 320 people in one classroom.

BTW, I went to school in L.A., but we never went out to any bars, even though we had plenty in the neighborhood- it's just too expensive. My friends and I would just go to the local liquor store/supermarket and sneak it back in suitcases to our dorm.

Well, you really can't go off campus here, because we have more violent crimes than both New York City and Detroit, BUT we have a smaller population. Yay. But that would only matter if there was anything off-campus in the first place.

Being at a small school, I have really small class sizes, (I had 7 people including myself in my Japanese course), but people often suffer from prolonged high school mentality. It's especially creepy since college is actually smaller than my 3,800 kid HS.

It's always fun leaving a class and having people pull you aside to tell you specifically why you aren't fitting in to the department clique because you're moving up to a higher level than the rest of them, which apparently is "showing off".
