I'm not tearing into you JB, so don't be offended too much, this is something that we have seen a few times.
There seems to be a misconception that all of us here are DYING to have more things to draw. Like we have hours upon hours of time with far too little to draw in that time. This is obviously false, hell a large percentage of us are on hiatus. And those that are active in their comics usually are kept busy with it.
Now I say this because every so often we get a post in this formula, "Hey! I have this idea! Now go draw it, woo!" When these come up very often the subject is self centered. In this case, it is entirely self centered. If I were to go, "Hey lets do a spriteville jam!" I highly doubt I'd get much of a response. As beloved as I am there is just little interest in such a single topic.
Now also, rarely (if ever) do the jams here ever come about because some single person wants to start the jam. Jams have often been started through the IRC chat, or through a fan art submission that everyone happens to like.
Jams are not something that likes to be "planned" they just happen.
