The White Album? Hmmmm?
Well, actually, I've never heard the White Album, but still..... meh. I need to listen to more stuff that was recorded before 1987....

Either Fleetwood Mac's Rumours or Pink Floyd's The Wall.

You go by very interesting definition of classic rock. By having psychedelic rock like Pink Floyd, you make me assume that you think of "classic rock album" as "old album" and not as "rasic bock". but then again, why is there Clash's punk or Guns'N'Roses from 90something?
I am very confused by what should be considered by classic rock.
Ok, if we assume that it's anything but latest albums, then there would be Beatle's "Rubber Soul" (even though they're more often tagged as pop), Kinks' "Arthur", Bowie's "Hunky Dory"... Perhaps Talkin' Heads "Remain in light"... Queen's "Innuendo"... that's all I can think of now.

London Calling is probably the only one of those eight that would be one of my top 100 albums.
Of course, it's hardly "classic rock" by most reasonable definitions, but then, it's a vague category that's based on a radio format rather than an actual musical movement or genre.

<edit> Whoops!
But why, oh why is the Eagles up there?
Anyway, I'm just gonna say my favourite album of classic rock is Who's Next (The Who), if only for it's <a href="

Yeah, I'm going by what you'd hear on a "classic rock" radio station. I've heard all of the above (and worse) on the air.
I debated putting the Clash on there, but since "Train in Vain" is about as un-punk as a punk band can get (and again, it's all over classic rock radio), I left it in.

*imagines 50 years old farts still jumping on the stage*
Wow. Add 10 years and I just imagined Rolling Stones.

I'm changing my answer to The Who Sell out. Not only is it's <a href="

There is only one Eagles song I like, and the cover of it is better. It's Hotel California. The spanish version that was featured in The Big Lebowski is great.

Speaking of classic rock in other languages, Bowie in Portugeuse in The Life Aquatic = awesome.

I have the Hell Freezes Over DVD in my private special collection. Don Henley's voice is so dreaaaamyyyy... I'd fellate him without hesitation if it he sang 'New York Minute' to me.
