Post Your Pets!

It struck me that we have a thread for ourselves, right? Well, why not our pets? Most people love to show them off, and they often creep into our own pictures, anyhow. So, oggle them here!

My kitty, Isis! We would have named her Bastet, which would be more accurate, but we just couldn't see yelling, "BASTET!" whenever she did something bad.

Zuul, my beta fish. So named because he's the lone survivor of my bettas (one got sick, and the other was sick when I got him and died)- thus, THERE IS ONLY ZUUL.

She's evil and pretty smart so I guess the only thing that stands in the way between her and world domination is her blind dedication to my mom.

Actually, she looks like a cat that my roommate's family had who was, ironically, named Evil.

Wee Mad Arthur, named for his habit of running up your leg and headbutting you, the world's most inellegant cat and a proper boy. Permanently grubby, gets into fights and spreads his possessions (and self) all over the floor.

Actually, since we seem to have a fair selection of inelegant cats here today, I should point out that Arthur is completely asleep in the above picture and that it is by no means his worst sleeping position. I swear he dislocates his shoulders in order to get that extra bit of inelegance.

Not exactly a pet, but Buckbeak the magpie has been hanging around our court for the last few years.

You can probably see how he aquired his name...

His twisted beak doesn't seem to have affected him too much. He seems to get enough to eat from bugs and things on our paddocks and lawns...

B/w tuxedo kitty = Mischief. Grey tabby = Boogie (a'cause he's a big ol BOOGER)

They sleep like this all the time, but it's not quite as peaceful of a scene as it looks. Usually Boogie is asleep somewhere, and Mischief comes up and decides that she wants the warm spot.. so she'll flop down on top of Boogie. If he moves, she gets the spot.. usually he'll turn around and bite her before he moves, but occasionally (like this shot) he'll just shrug it off and go back to sleep.

heh.. the main thing I think I'm gleaning from this thread is, if reincarnation exists, I want to come back as a housecat.
