Well here it is! The Jam version of Stinkies weird hobby!

It works like this (If I am correct): I'm going to post a picture (in MSpaint ) of a begining "civilization". The next person will copy it into paint and "advance" the civilization in time. It can be just a few moment ahead in time to a few weeks/months. We keep this going and see how our civilization ends up!

If you don't understand the concept, ask me.

Please keep the file as a 256 bmp. because gif and jpgs make them blurr alot. and please alos use only the base colors that MSPaint starts out with. thanks.

The forums don't like bmps.

Gif doesn't actually blur them, it just cuts down on the colors you can use--actually I think in paint it just limits you to 256 colors anyway.

now ON WITH THE JAM... THING.

Depending on the version of Windows you have, you might be able to save it as a .png. I can, with XP Home.

And (don't quote me on this) I think the way to get Paint to do .gif correctly is to save the image as a .gif before you do anything (i.e. when it's still a blank canvas). Not sure, though.

Gif doesn't dither, it just limits you to 256 colors. Jpegs antialias, which is not what you want for this.

I hate place holders because people ALWAYS forget about them.

I was just concerned that more than one person might be working on it at a time and it wouldn't be consistent.

First come first serve, but you have to call it so two people don't do it!

I'm not sure I get it.

no place holders. but call it before you draw it. get it?
just say "the next one's mine!" just so no one else tries to do it too.
