At least, that's what I think should happen. And there need to be flying robot dinosaurs.

This looks like a supremely dangerous world for the little people to be living in. Possible enemies could be evolving from all kinds of different places. And the purple thing is getting larger.

I think the squid is going to run out of food soon. And THAT'S the really scary thing.

Stuff keeps happening! And it's nighttime again!

Bear in mind that each night doesn't represent one day. It just happens that we come back to the scene at nighttime. This whole thing has taken much more than 3 days.

The purple thing has taken residence in the tree. It's like the pilot of a giant, wooden mecha now!

And the squid(?) thing is fricking huge. I pity the villager who goes to piss in the lake.

I'm sure the squidthing will just evolve to eat the moss and other material that falls into the lake from the tree. It'll be a vegetarian! Yay!

I actually HAVE seen a comic like this, a long time ago. It was some sort of castle scene, and on every page the scene was subtly different. There was all sorts of creepy haunted house stuff going on, werewolves changing, something coming out of the kitchen, things like that. Sort of a sequential "Incredible Cross Sections" for a haunted house.

It was a picture book I found at the Children's Discovery Museum like, ten years ago or something.
