Postby Fullcircle on Fri Apr 23, 2004 12:27 am

Wow... I get busy for a while, then theres a zillion posts and I want to read them all... You guys are addictive, but I don't seem to have the time or energy to keep up! Especially if I want to get any work done on my comic! How do you guys do it? /(Ov0;\

I come here daily, I'm mostly on the computer for the day. So I have lots of time to read through the threads.

Heh for a second I thought the topic was "How do you keep it up?" and I was ready to give my insight and expertise on this matter. :P

I'm here daily as well. Oh so much wasted time while I was at school. When I should have been paying attention to differential amplifiers or digital logic interfacing, I was checking out the XXX Nude thread or posting links to my recordings. :D

I'm kind of making it a habit to pop in, stick around for a few weeks, disappear for a month or two, and then repeat the whole process. I plan to never become popular this way.

I live here. Well actually I live on the General Forums and just pop in here once in a while.

I've been trying to give up on foruming for months now - it wastes SO much time >.<

I spend so much time at my computer, mainly at various forums, that I've begun wearing a wrist brace on my mouse hand because my desk is not made for computers and makes me sore at night.

I'll normally check most posts that have been replied to, unless there's donkey loads, in which case I just mark 'em all read and restart the process. :D

Boredom, mostly. Though recently I've had various things taking up my time so I actually haven't been keeping track of all the current threads. I have read a few of them though, but normally I just don't have time to go through them all anymore. Odd to hear me of all people saying that, since when I first joined the forums I became a commander within a month or two, and have already contributed 3 FAQ's and various artwork to the forum. Not that I'm gloating, I'm simply pointing out that I have no life and as such, devote insane amounts of time to things that are probably not that important. This is mainly because things that are important are also generally boring. I don't like to spend my time doing things that are boring, unless it's required for my survival. That could be part of the reason I can't hold a job. -_-

...oh, and I can't draw anymore. >_< Well, not today, anyway, I'm hoping it'll come back tomorrow.

I pop in and out periodically... and every time I come back, I lose a few precious hours (drawing time!) to this damn forum, checking up on everything I missed. I don't even try to contribute artwork to most of the events, because I'd never get around to updating my actual comic.

Just two more posts, and I'll get to 666... mua-ha-ha! And in the future, people will read this and think, "why did she announce that - I mean, she doesn't have that many anymore - geez, what a moron!".

I used to just hang around off topic and forum games, but now I go through everything.... Too much to keep up with!

*head explodes*

Except when there's nobody on. Then it's irksome....

Yep. I have no life.

I may have to try that appearing disappearing trick... I just can't keep up and I'm making myself crazy trying to. I also have a hard time replying to posts when I feel the point of view I agree with is already being expressed, so... yeah. I may have to accept lurking as a way of life for the sake of my own sanity, on and off. :-?

Keeping up. Yeah....

'Tis fun trying to keep up when anywhere between four and six people are posting at the same time. :D The chaos that ensued was quite hilarious, though.

I don't honestly believe anyone keeps up to well with Keenspace forums. way to much going on. I try to limit it to just daily (though as of the late with business thats about every three days and even then only select boards), and I spend way to many hours even then.

I visit forums every day. If I have more time, I stretch it to two hours to visit every new post, when I'm in lack of time, It takes 1.20 or something like that. Sometimes I'm ultimately bored so I visite it more times a day. If I already visited it that day, it takes no more than hanf an hour to go through it.
