One reason I like this thread: Looking at everyone else's sketches makes me want to draw more, and get a lot better. It's great motivation!

It does that, but also makes me want to stab myself with my pencil for not being good enough.

Yeah... But that's a good thing, right? I mean, it's constructive...

Or is that destructive? I always get those mixed up.

I looked at some other figure drawings (as opposed to the figures themselves) to see how they approach illustrating them and breaking the body into parts. I think it helped a lot. So I drew what I saw in the figure drawings.

Again, all with ballpoint pen.

The juxtaposition of those two sketches is quite amusing.

Edit: It was a boring day in Print Media Class, So I did some Illustrator sketches.

An Illustrator doodle of CJ

My friend Liz saw me doodling CJ and made me do one of her too.

Edit Edit: I just realized that I've been drawing CJ a lot lately. She's just too damn fun to draw.

I've decided that McDuffies is my co-teacher. You don't have a problem with that, do you?

Good lord, I'm going to have trouble just reading all the posts he directs at me, much less the homework he assigns. At least I'll be learning from the best.(not that I wasn't already)

Did this for a DnD character in a DnD game currently being played sporadically in a DnD chatroom with some other DnD-playing CG'ers. DnD.

I did a version where I inked it digitally in photoshop, but it kinda sucked. I post it here because I am actually rather proud of it.

And his name is Binbag T. McGraw. Oh yes.
What a rubbish signature.

I drew more at work today, but I'm going to wait till I get the scanner before I upload them.

I have one which has catgirl-me talking to someone with a ponytail over her shoulder with "Do you wanna buy a car igotanexcellentpreownedcertifieddealforya"
Which is close to what I hear on most calls, except she is standing in front of a car. When I finished drawing the car I noticed that I couldn't figure out of I drew the front or the back side of the car. The third panel is "Don't KICK the tires" *smash* "Gaah!"

I then got out another page and tried drawing CJ... kinda superheroy. Then on the other half of the page I tried drawing black sparrow I think. I didn't get to finish it.
