Hmmm, I should really wait till I get home. Especially since that's where the dvd is. If you haven't yet, watch the director's cut because there's a great scene in which Ripley find out her daughter died in a nursing home while she was floating in space for 50 years.

Yeah, really. It woulda been long, but it was good. The only time I notice how long a movie is while I'm watching it is if it sucks and I want to go home. The first two Alien films are scintillating.

Sweet. The third one is awful and the fourth one is okay. I have the whole quadriligy though because I got it for christmas. Plus it's fun to have the whole set even if I don't like the last two films all that much.

I was disappointed in Aliens Versus Predator. The comics were nice though. I had a bunch of the Dark Horse Alien/Predator Versus EVERYTHING titles and they were usually good.

i remember reading one where it was batman vs alien or something and an alien burst out of an aligator and there was this huge mother fucking alien aligator thing, it was awesome.

i still enjoyed avp the movie, not as good as it could have been, but still, the new one that's coming out looks like just plain hard core alien vs predator violence, which might be good.

First one is actually pretty damn good (though I watched it with the Rifftrax). Don't know anything about the sequel, but the first one actually has characterization and a fairly intelligent paramilitary group just trying to outsmart and outmaneuver an alien with advanced technology.

The first Predator is good. I found the second one kind of cheesy.

FREAKIN' ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER!

You KNOW it's good if it's 80's Arnie! Predator is bad ass!

I saw the sequel a very long time ago. The Predator is doing its thing in a city, and only Danny Glover can stop him. I remember it being good and also very twisted in parts. You'll know which part when you watch it. Really.

Alien - Good
Aliens - Amazing
Alien3 - Crap
Alien Resurrection - Good

Predator - Good
Predator 2 - Awesomesauce (Rock is cheesy! HA!)

Alien vs. Predator - Good
Alien vs. Predator: Requiem - Hopefully as completely and insanely super-awesome as the trailer makes it out to be.

I love the first Predator film. Heck, my mother has it memorised line for line. As for the sequel, it was good. I liked it, but not as much as the first.

Of the Alien films, I've only seen the first three. Alien and Aliens are both excellent. I thought Alien 3 was okay, but nowhere near as good as the previous films.

Well let's face it, the dinner scene in Alien is classic. You just don't get more classic scifi/horror than that.

Also headless Ian Holm is always good for a laugh :)

And all the passengers were killed. Not by the crash or anything, but just through sheer ennui.

That scene, and the "That's impossible, that's in the room with us!" scene are the two best scenes in the entire franchise.
