Just finished Psychonauts, actually. Borrowed it from a friend. Not bad but although it feels a lot like an adventure game it actually doesn't have any adventure gaming in it. That relegates it to pure platformer.

But fun.

Playing some Megaman ZX for the DS.

It's good but not great. It tries to be 2 different things but is master of neither.

On the one hand, if you get right down to the core gameplay it's classic Megaman, but that core gameplay has been buried under a pile of overly complex additions that don't add much to the game in the end. They really should have made a choice...to the want to go for a straight up nostalgic retro design, or do they want to do something genuinely new?

Anyways, I only rented it and as a rental it's fine, but I probably wouldn't recommend shelling out 30 or 40 bucks to actually buy it.

Ratchet & Clank. I never finished it for some reason, so I'm doing that before I move on to Persona 2.

Rather than PLAY games, I've started trying to MAKE them. It's an uphill battle, too. I'm allergic to math and logic.

Here's the Brainwrap zombie:
http://www.mediafire.com/?4n4jgjyjnz2(this one contains the .blend files for your perusal and manipulation, should you be so inclined) -- The level is an as yet incomplete reconstruction of the Hatchet Point movie theater...

And here's the first Corridor Z test run (Windows, OpenGL):
http://www.mediafire.com/?6cnzry2wznm

Right click, "save as", you know the drill...

These are only alpha tests, mind you. It'll be a while before a complete game evolves out of either of them, but I consider it a more productive use of my time than playing other people's games.

Shin megami shigami tensei: Devil summoner Raido Kazuha vs. the soulless army. (Such a looong ass name for a game)
Okami.
Grand Turismo 4.
Neverwinter Nights 2.
Prey.
Oblivion.

That first one feels soooo much like Parasite Eve 1 that I'm loving it. Even down to the music, sound effects, and art style. Okami I stopped at the food puzzle in Orochi's lair, haven't picked it back up yet. GT4 I'm stocking up on used cars like crazy. Yay racing an 83 Honda civic! NWN2 feels much better than the 1st one. I never played that game much, being solo bugged the crap out of me. I want a party dammit! Prey is just insane. Why do the aliens have orifices all over the place that spray feet and hands at you!?!?
