Wouldn't it be a Counterspell for permenants only? Instant and Sorceries don't come into play, they simply resolve.

Meh, I don't think anyone really cares about making them playable, just funny.

The card isn't written correctly anyways, so I guessed that he meant any spell. If you took his wording literally, you could counter lands, which is a no-no. Also, the card can't work as a sorcery, it'd have to be instant.

If you want it to counter permanents, then the correct wording would be "Counter target creature, artifact, or enchantment spell."

Yes, I'm a M:tG junkie, although I haven't played in a while.

Ah, yeah. Forgot about lands. They just seem like such a different, non-card thing, after a while.

Then again, most of the cards here aren't worded quite right. It's kind of been irking me, but they're meant for fun so I've tried not to comment.

LibertyCabbage wrote:Rkolter, you really need to have an understanding of how the colors interact before you can make cards. Specifically, each color does certain things better than others and have strengths and weaknesses. One of the main challenges of the game is combining the colors to supplement each other enough to make up for the reliability you would have by sticking to only one color.
I'm pretty sure I comprehend, having been one of the first to run sanctioned tournaments, and having supported myself selling cards as a distributor for two years. My wording may come from old style MtG, but I'm pretty clear on the colors and what they do.

I made them white not because that was the best color for their abilities, but because it was the best color for the characters - the admins are supposedly shining white, pure dieties and all. :P

We aren't making sanctioned cards, LC! We're making fun, funny cards!

Denial is not falsification. You can't avoid a fact just because you don't like it.
"Data" is not the plural of "anecdote"

would be funny if one of these cards actually shows up at a tournament.

I could see a judge saying "Who the hell is an admin?"
You know, i should work on this.

I just noticed the 'creature-legendary creature' thing. Whoops!

That would be "Fawkes", hon. ;)
Oh! I noticed I'd forgotten to give that one to TDot. TDot if you want an updated gallery, it's here.
