I thought G was being quite gentlemanly about the whole thing. Shows he could have hurt her a whole lot, but that she was going to win anyway, and took his leave in a classy way.

If he were a Go player he'd be considered very respectable. In Go, continuing a game even though you know you've already lost is very unrespectable.

G holds true to those ancient words of wisdom . . . you gotta know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em. Know when to walk away, and know when to run. You never count your EXP when you're sittin' at the table. There'll be time enough for leveling when the session's done.
Existence is a series of catastrophes through which everything barely but continually survives.

Everybody knows Go is the game of pansies, though.[AlmightyPyro] wrote:If he were a Go player he'd be considered very respectable. In Go, continuing a game even though you know you've already lost is very unrespectable.

Wha? We're fighting again?
Oh, I lost. Well, I guess that's fair since I wasn't even paying attention. The same thing always used to happen in Mortal Kombat.

Victory is mine! Although I'm a bit miffed that my opponent somehow managed to out-ninja me... we shall meet again, my fellow mysterious mask wearer!

Re: ComicGenesis Forum ArenaBattle (resuming on page 26)
I think the battle happened during my non-access to internet. I read through the thread, found you're post wishing me a good battle, the battle, and your post congratulating me on my victory. The whole thing was over before I knew what had happened... =PKillbert-Robby wrote:You beat me?

Yeah yeah. Get busy with college for a couple months and everyone forgets they're in battles for their very lives. Sheesh.

Or, heaven forbid, our loved ones.
You'll forgive us if we don't pay attention quite so much, thanks to your "revolving door" policy.Rkolter wrote:Yeah yeah. Get busy with college for a couple months and everyone forgets they're in battles for their very lives. Sheesh.
