This was my view of things. Also bring back Monica! Even if she wasn't connected to the plot exceptionally well it would have been fun to see where her power went.
Monica and Micah are off doing the batman and robin thing in New Orleans, and they'll be in the spin off, which will be all about black peoples since they wrote them all off in season 2. Or maybe they'll come back in Season 3.

Or at least that's my guess.

I've always found it very incredibly amusing that all the characters good and bad alike invariably call him The Haitian. Like they can tell he's from Haiti just by looking at him. He's the creepy bald black man!

Have we ever gotten his name in the story?

Ok, so...

KUDOS to Hiro for realizing he could at least pause to find his dad's killer.

I liked this episode most for the whole season, except that Claire didn't land on top, killing West.

Mohindduh just graduated from 'fuckup' to 'Jimmy Olsen level Super-Fuckup'.

I love the actor, but good gawd I'm beginning to hate that character. :)

AHHH I TOTALLY called Noah NOT dying. And that it would be the magical healing blood that fixes him.

This was a pretty good episode. Up to par with last season even, maybe? As my roommate pointed out, Peter was not in it- go figure. West's flying tackles were pretty godawful in terms of special effects. I wonder if Mr. Bennet will now be gazing with angsty eyes into mirrors and seeing himself half-eyeless all the time. Too bad the thing completely healed, Heroes totally just passed up the perfect opportunity for an eyepatch.

Also: Parkman, awesome, way to practice your mind control powers on your precious little adopted daughter girl. That's totally cool, especially considering what she's been through.

You wouldn't be biased towards eyepatches or anything would you now, swimmingtrunks?

I enjoyed this episode. Almost wished they had left Noah dead for the dramatics of it. Almost. I'm glad Hiro found out about Kensai killing his father. Now we just have to see if Kensai knows that he killed Hiro's father. From the previews it looks like Sylar has, hopefully, disposed of the twins or is going to use them as cover bait for talking with Mohindar. Speaking of Mohindar, I think Noah has his number by the end of the season. Especially since he was dead and then caught because of Mohinder.

yeah mohinder's just a dumbass.

west has some really bad acting in this episode, worse than usual.

but on the whole i agree with kolter, this episode was fairly decent.

Also gotta love the electric ho.

and i'm glad noah's not dead, cause he's one of the main reasons to watch the show.

Noah's alive :D

I was actually really upset when they killed him. I thought he'd stay dead. Those last 10 seconds of the show made it th best episode so far.

Mohinder really needs to die now.

I feel really bad for Kaito Nakamura this episode. Why? It was daytime when Hiro first caught up with him and informed him that he was going to die that same evening. After a quick jaunt to the past, where does Hiro return him to? Daytime, the same moment where they left off? No. Night-time, just before his death. Hiro just took away his daddy's last living day on earth. What a twat.

I saw that too Rickford and thought it was odd, but then remembered that 'present' keeps moving forward in the Heroes universe. Hiro didn't return to when he left for feudal Japan either. He returned months later. So when Hiro thinks 'return to present', he comes back to where the present time has been progressing.

Favorite line: "Stings, doesn't it?"

Second favorite line: "You don't remember? Almost as if someone had taken the memories away?"

I also wish in a small way, that Noah had stayed dead. He's a GOOD character and deserves a dramatic death.

Mohinder needs to die. West needs to die, twice. Perhaps while being violated by a bear.

I'm just glad someone finally had the balls to shoot electric bitch. Sadly it wasn't fatal, but someone needed to knock her down a peg or two.

oh i think she's been knocked a peg or two, it looks like what noah said to her sunk in.

oh! also, i do so love episodes without the wonderless twins.

also, from the dialog it appears the kaito's power is similiar to hiro's only he couldn't time travel.

Oh, and BOO on the Cop. Good writing mind you, and good character, but I had figured the cop wouldn't force Ma Patrelli to spill the beans about the lady's name. He did, and that makes me think bad things about the cop.

I wonder if his dad started using that power with the best of intentions?

that power is so easily corrupting.

MISTER BUTLER WHAT ARE YOU DOING

Worst line delivery in the entire history of this show.

I am so serious you guys. Claire and West are the WORST thing about this show. In that first half she was acting like such a little bitch to her dad its as if the Haitian had paid her a surprise visit and she forgot all of the crap they went through in season one and then when Noah took Elle and Mohinder down in the parking lot and he was going to shoot Mohinder and West was like MISTER BUTLER WHAT ARE YOU DOING Noah should just have turned the gun and shot him right there when he had the chance Not TEAM UP AND WORK TOGETHERRAAGHGHBLARGURGLE

While I take this moment to rage, I am going to stand firm and say I really don't like the way they've retconned Claire and Matt's powers. This sharing blood and leveling up crap makes the powers of so many of the other characters like Linderman, Eden and Candace completely redundant. I thought it was cooler when everyone had their unique little niche powers, not Jedi knights. And I'm still annoyed that nobody's hair stands on end whenever Elle shocks them.

I agree with Vort that bringing Noah back straight away was a waste of a really good cliff hanger. Makes his death kind of pointless otherwise... Mind you, he is one of the only good characters left. Still talk about overreacting. What did he think Bob was going to do? Kill Claire? I suppose he could have turned her to gold...I wonder if she can heal that? That would have been cool.

EDIT: And there goes my theory about Bob being Sylar's dad. But this episode was soo Daddy Issues.

Well, in a way, the sharing blood make sense Bob -

GIVEN: It's been shown that people can share their powers.

GIVEN: Apparently tissue rejection doesn't exist in the Heroes world.

It makes an odd sort of sense that the healers could share their internal healing power too - by giving blood.

I don't like the rationale, given under command by Ma Patrelli, for why they imprisoned Adam - "Why did you imprison him?" "There was more... we thought he only had cellular regeneration, but if your cells constantly regenerate eventually you stop ageing."

So... you imprisoned him for thirty years because he was OLD?
