I couldn't ever do that. Anorexia, I could see (and actually have had before, the only time I've ever been able to lose weight. It was scary when I realized that that was why) but I just can't see why anyone would want to do that. Ick!

I heard a few years ago that J.Lo was being considered to play Wonder Woman. Now that's a scary thought.

But yeah, Lindsay Lohan as Wonder Woman would be a crime against humanity.

her having an eating disorder was no kind of revelation, she had all the classic signs, other than suddenly being skinny ass and freaky.

She does seem to be looking better in more recent pictures.

Now that I have time to do more than just make fun of the wording of the **ahem** article:

I'm not freaking out over the idea of Lindsay Lohan playing Wonder Woman myself. If it does happen, I'll just write off the movie as one that isn't worth watching (which I do for most movies anyway, even reportedly good ones). Still, I can't really see her playing that role, but who knows--maybe she'd surprise me? It's possible.

I'd make a suggestion as to who should play Wonder Woman, but I don't know enough about the character to make such a judgement.

Catherine Zeta Jones would make an excellent WW. She's mature, but sexy and feminine, and she's experienced in the world of acting. An award winning actress. I think she can take on the role better than anyone.

Kinda like how I felt no one else could have played Tomb Raider other than Angelina Jolie, but that's a whole different forum topic. :p

Lindsey Lohan has all the prerequisites for a career in porn: Eating disorder, a drug habit, a desperate need for attention, and boobs that people would pay to see. This new WW movie will probably do very well at the box office.

If we went by this mindset, Drew Barrymore would never have a distinguished career outside of E.T. Besides, I know Wonder Woman is like a classic hero, but seriously, guys- the show sucked. Just like Scooby Doo sucked, even though everyone loves him. And maybe the comic book is cool (although how cool can a "truth lasso" be, really?), but comic books don't make movies. Look at Batman. And Superman. And The Hulk. And even Fantasic Four! All lame movies. I won't even mention Daredevil, for the sake of all of us.

All in all, Lindsey can't suck any worse than the movie itself probably will. Maybe Joss can save it, because he is talented like whoa, but I'm betting on no.

I don't really care much for Hollywood desecrating other works, but I wish that when they did it they could at least try to be true to form.

The biggest gripe I maintain is that the movie "Bug Hunt at Outpost 9" needs to stop dragging Starship Troopers name through the filth.

This Wonder Woman movie has all the makings of an oncoming train wreck. Joss Whedon can do some good stuff (I believe he also did Firefly, which I liked a lot), but...

He says he loves the character of Wonder Woman. But he doesn't like the comics. He doesn't like the movies that have been done before. He doesn't like the TV series. He doesn't like the costume. He doesn't like the "rogues gallery." One wonders just what it is about the character that he "loves."

Sigourney Weaver should be Wonder Woman. She can beat up terminators and Aliens for gosh sakes and didn't even have a magic lasso. She should be able to handle some damn bank robbers.
