Hmmmm... I'm not a fangirl for any particular series, but some of my favourites over the years have been...

-Excel Saga
-Fantastic Children
-Gankutsuou
-Haibane Renmei
-Kino's Journey
-Twelve Kingdoms
-Vision of Escaflowne (leave me alone, it was the first anime series I watched *knowing* it was anime, and it'll always hold a special place in my heart...:P)

I generally dislike series that have more than 26 episodes; they tend to have more filler than plot. Also, Last Exile is totally overrated; I liked it for the first few episodes, but after that ... I don't know why it always shows up on these lists. :P

Yeah, Ronin Warriors! That was awesome. And the plot moved really fast at times, unlike Dragonball Z and the like. Though there was a time I liked Dragonball Z.

I liked Lupin the 3rd, but I don't want to marry him.

Ha, I forgot about that one. It's one of the funniest things I've watched; even the opening sequence is hilarious.

No, but you did get all fangirly about it when I commented I'd seen the first few episodes a while back. ;)

Eh, it was hard to get used to at first, but at the same time, you have to admit, the animation was very distinctive. And I seem to recall the backgrounds being particularly good. Also, they did a great job of being mysterious and keeping you guessing, but explaining things before it got tedious, and tying up the loose ends; although the aura of mystery never completely dissipated, you didn't finish the last episode and think "WTF?".

Woo! I was a bit meh about this in the beginning, being that nothing was happening. But man, when it reached the climax, it did it well. I fink I criied.

Also, that intro song is good in a weird way.

It sounds like someone who's been smoking way too much XD. But yeah, it's quite appealing.

No, it's acceptable to be fangirly over a series that doesn't suck. :3

I'm not really a fan of any anime right now, though that might change if I could get bittorrent working on one of my computers.

Don't read/watch too much Anime or Manga anymore, but I have a nostalgic spot in my heart for the Gunsmith Cats Manga/Anime and the related Riding Bean movie.

I generally don't watch a lot of anime, but I loved GTO. Then I read the manga and realized that the anime actually should have been better than it was. The original manga is a friggin masterpiece.

my favorites, in the order I think of them-

Cowboy Bebop
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
- but I sometimes roll my eyes when the writers start using a thesarus to sound smart. NO ONE talks like that.
Fullmetal Alchemist
Trigun
FLCL
Samurai Champloo
Paranoia Agent
Lupin the 3rd
Hellsing

Evangelion to a lesser extent, it's actually the only series I bought but that's only because I have to keep rewatching it to understand WHAT THE HELL is going on.

Wolf's Rain was ok, but too depressing.

I love the characters on Inuyasha, but damn they've been repeating the same plot for several seasons. (Inuyasha- NARAKU!! Sango- KOHAKU!! Kagome- INUYASHA!! Kirara- *growl* Shippo- SOMETHING ANNOYING!! Miroku- heehee *pinches*)

the only One Piece I've seen was that god-awful Fox Box translation. I gather it was pretty good in the original dubs, but I'm too lazy to track them down.

and Naruto was overrated.

not to be seen by these eyes ever again-
S-cry-ed-I mainly watched it for the blue haired woman who sounded like Butters from South Park and Straight Cougar. and they both died at the end, leaving a terribly boring world ;_;
Big O- stuck with it until the end... then was terribly confused by the ending. I still haven't figured out what was going on, and unlike Evangelion I'm not interested in studying it to figure it out.
Blue Gender
Witch Hunter Robin

edit- oh yeah, Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team rocked my socks off, but has a disappointing ending.

All torrents.
