The quote can be seen here.
I don't think he meant anything racist by it, though the language is a bit weird.
Perhaps Obama can see the Matrix?
Also, science strikes back. It's about the projector remark McCain made.

Has McCain ever refered to a white man as "that one"? If he has, I have yet to see anyone mention it.

Obama could score points and link McCain to Bush by pointing this out. "McCain seeks to continue the assault on science and science education perpetrated by President Bush..."MixedMyth wrote:Also, science strikes back. It's about the projector remark McCain made.
I heard 'overhead projector' and said, "He can't mean their planetarium..." But I guess he did. Oh well. McCain is also the guy who accused Obama of wanting to teach kindergarteners about sex, when Obama wanted age appropriate discussion with kindergarteners so they wouldn't be prey to pedophiles.

Re: The freakish size of Nancy Reagan's head.
Stupid? It's ground for losing your job. I wonder whether parents associations raise as much fuss over that as over those cases where kids accidentally see nipple on tv or something.
I'm starting to be pissed off about mcCain's campaign, it seems to be mostly based on mud slinging, dragging out some trivial details and blowing them out of proportion or taking them out of context. "That one" probably wasn't meant as racist, but regardless it's incredibly rude, shows total disrespect of the political oponent. But my impression from that segment (I watched that part of the debate on tv later) was that mcCain was clinging onto trivialities.
Not that I was ever much of mcCain sympathizer, but before the campaigne started, he seemed like more dignified, rational person. On the positive side, those acts are usually sign that someone is desperate.

i really did think mcCain was a good candidate... four years ago... but now, the bush administration removed his spine and apparently his brain.McDuffies wrote:Stupid? Good call. It really is desperation. McCain's not getting another shot at this, and anyone can see it slipping away.McDuffies wrote: I'm starting to be pissed off about mcCain's campaign, it seems to be mostly based on mud slinging, dragging out some trivial details and blowing them out of proportion or taking them out of context. Nothing like having presidency just out of your reach and then being dragged away from it to make a man start getting desperate.

Desperate is one thing, but he's just being a son-of-a-bitch. I'm with Lego - a few years back, the McCain of that time, he'd be a good president. This McCain is not the McCain of a few years ago.
Re: The freakish size of Nancy Reagan's head.
Holy cow, now the McCain people are defending the maniacs who are yelling "terrorist!" and "kill him!" at their rallies. How on earth is this a mainstream party?
