The Daily Show was hilarious, especially the interviews with Samantha Bee. I haven't laughed that hard in a long, long time.
But I HATE how flippant Jon Stewart was with announcing the gay marraige bans at the end of the show. I mean, he's supposed to always be smiling and joking I suppose, but I thought he was taking it too far. My friend who was watching the show at the time couldn't even take his attitude anymore and went outside to get drunk and have a cry.

Faith is what credulity becomes when it finally achieves escape velocity from the constraints of terrestrial discourse- reasonableness, internal coherence, civility, and candor. Thus, the men who commited the atrocities of September 11 were neither cowards nor lunatics of any sort, but Men of Faith- perfect faith- and this, it must finally be acknowleged, is a terrible thing to be.
