on a similar note, a pet peeve of mine and of my father's is people who use ignorance as an excuse, but not just that, people who seem almost proud that they don't know or don't know how to do something.

Grrr. You know what does it for me right now? Paper that cannot be written on. I have a pen. This pen can write on any surface I test it on, except the one piece of post-it I'm actually needing to write on at this very moment.

I switched pens and the damn thing still won't accept ink. It is unacceptable.
