Stuff happens.
Rain falls. Drops turn to steam as they hit red-hot rocks.

Juffo-Wup grows all over the place. We are content.

"1.Scan in high res 2.tweak with curves, levels or something to clean up the scan (or use channel mixer to remove blue pencil lines) 3.Add colour using a layer set to multiply. 4.Add wordbubbles and text as vector shapes. 5. Merge all layers. 6.resize to the web size. 7. Export/Save for Web" that's all I know about webcomicking.

That was rather cool, but on the reverse side, the one plot of land, my old one, just zapping into existence like that kinda defeated it a little. :D

As far as the Mycon are concerned nothing exists until they own it.

Yeah, I planned to make it so that new areas would fade in as the Juffo-Wup progressed, but it wasn't as easy as I thought, :shifty: ,maybe next time.

And I'm not sure how to arrange it so the shuttle can leave to plant spores in Mort's land, it will probably need some retconning. :-?

Once the grass on the island was eaten by growing fungus, the rain washed out a lot of earth. Also, the tree roots hanging off the island lost their support and fell off.

Hot lava boils water in the lake.
The Deep Children are part of Juffo-Wup -- home builders.
The dwellers in the Mohorovichic.

The dust in Mort's land settles.

Because there isn't more land for them to do more things. That's why I stopped updating in the first one - to do anything else, I'd have to destroy the cool stuff I'd made already.

Maybe, whenever two parties meet, push them apart and add two new blocks of land to be bought between them. That will prevent someone from being landlocked between two other people, or worse between themselves and someone who has stopped updating.

Of course, you'd have to find another way to call an end to a given round. Maybe say "This round will last 100 turns or until those still updating agree it should end, whichever comes first" ?

yeah, being stuck between two people who stopped updating eons ago (paint sim time) sucks. don't worry, it shall rise even better than before, round time permitting, i have plans... plans i say!

As long as you build something else in it's place I guess it's ok.
If Pyro doesn't fix his land I might revert it back to befor the tree fell.
I just don't want the final world images to be a bunch of rubble...
But I suppose I should be impartial and let people do what they want.

no no, i plan on rebuilding, trust me, and don't count out the squid just yet, just cause you can't see him, doesn't mean he's not there. just give me some time, and you know maybe some of ahaugen's land ;)

So... remember that time Pyro accepted our spore?
Well, the spore soon got burried in the disaster, but it wasn't destroyed... it was waiting... waiting for a time like now!

more awryness, fear not, things will turn for the better soon, though the quantum singularity i've been using for power zoting out of existance and taking a large chunk of things with it proves interesting. further developments tomorrow.

Needless to say, I buy the land to the right to spread Juffo-Wup.
Juffo-Wup! Juffo-Wup! Yeeeee!

A single spore lands, finds nourishment in decay and attains maturity..
In turn it exhales a cloud of life, a thousand spores land... so progresses Juffo-Wup.

Spores bloom all over the place, it's a good day for Juffo-Wup! :shucks:

One of the rules was that you can't alter the space above or below your land.
I added more land that you can buy.
