well there are natural receptors in the brain which respond to marijuana but they're meant to respond to natural cannibinoids, the specific names escape me momentarily, i think one is called anandamide, now what role they play in orgasm i'm not sure, but the reward pathway, which is induced during sex, eating, any sort of pleasureable activity is the ventral tegmental pathway is i think primarily a cholinergic pathway.

And yes i realize very little of that made sense to anyone, so to sum up it may play a roll like that, but it just may be on the order of chocolate having a stronger effect on the reward pathway than other foods do, which makes sense, it's pretty rewarding, but it still doesn't come close to the powerful stimulation during orgasm, or direct stimulation of that path with electrical current or something like cocaine.

As for chocolate.. dark chocloate doesn't have milk in it.. does it?
All I know is that I feed women chocolate whilst I do them...just to be safe.

But if they trigger the same sort of receptors, wouldn't chocolate tie up said receptors during the act itself and thereby lower (or heighten, you know, in a worst case scenario) the womans pleasure?

that depends if the chemical in chocolate responsible for receptor activation is a competetive agonist. or how many receptors it activates.
