Pleh, the dismantled dimmer lightswitch on the desk nearly killed me earlier today. I was asleep when it exploded and set on fire. My mum smelled the smoke from downstairs and shut off the electricity before the rest of my room went up in flames.

There's mine, with the cat laying in the way as usual. It's actually so messy at the moment that she can't find a place to sit down.

This isn't actually where I DRAW my strips...but it's where much of the inspiration comes from...and if the classroom isn't considered a workspace then nothing is...

And that's after a decent sort of tidy up too...

Those cards have been on my desk for two and a half years. No one can remember who's they were, and no one has come to claim them.

I also tax them on whatever hot chips they have for lunch.

It's not Aussie slang, it's just an inaccurately named really old twanging mouth instrument. They are (were?) popular in the Southern united states.

oh, ok. it's in the little box in the in box?

*mini-rant you can skip*
I apologize for my confusion, I've been on edge lately because there is so much anti-semitism being spewed online over Mel Gibson's drunken rant and the Isreal-Lebanon thing. some seem unable to distingush between the religion and the nation, and my best friends are Jewish, and I feel obligated to defend them.

some are saying we are seeing the beginning of WWIII... Image

(I think I fixed the tag, it was the apostrophe)

You're not kidding there, are you? :(

Fair dinkum, it's just a little musical instrument that you put to your mouth, twang the metal tongue, and it makes sounds depending on the shape you make with your mouth. Probably called a Jew's Harp because it was cheap and easy to carry. There's a lot of mistrust in the world at the moment, eh?

Anyway, that's all it is. The kids think it's a funny little thing and are young enough to still believe people are just people. Gotta try to keep that for as long as we can...

Anyway, back to the workspaces...

very well put.

again Dutch, I apologize, sometimes I am way too cynical and defensive for my own good.
Anyway, back to the workspaces...
tragically (and partially why I am in such a crappy, cynical mood) I am STILL unemployed, so I'm posting pictures of my personal computer space.
