Maybe he did and let it happen. Didn't think of that, huh!

No. No, because you are the Mohinder.

Maybe it's like the turbo button on old PC's, press it and it's off, and everything goes slow, press it again and things go back to normal. Hiro's on the other hand is more like having to hold the switch down, after all neither of them would be able to see if they were moving faster than light. So obviously time isn't stopped. Likewise how can they breathe? Gravity? Friction? It's easier to just say that you are moving just slower than slight, but not specify by how much. Teleporting and time travelling itself is different, those are simply going from place A to Place B instantly, but doesn't really tell us how they don't get stuck in a wall let alone somewhere in space, since the earth rotates, and rotates around the sun, and I'm pretty sure the sun rotates arounnd something in the galaxy too.

(I'll ignore the actual fact that only XT/286's actually changed the clock speed with the turbo button. 386's and later just toggled the cache on/off, which is why games made before computers had caches spazz when run under ones that do, the timing loop being effectively zero due to no floating points thus dividing by zero.)

I like the latest episode's attempt at retconning, but I suppose it's MUCH better than a stupid clipshow. I wonder if this was all thought about in advance or they just found it convenient.

Though the point remains, if you can see the future, you have the means to change it. Isacc, Angela Patrelli, Hiro, Peter, and the Usutu that doesn't apparently have a name (hey all the black dudes eventually wind up dead, didyanotice?) all have seen the future in various ways, but it appears that Isacc, Angela, and Usutu do not have the means to change it themselves, only see the current course. Hiro has the power to actually go back and... apparently cause predestination paradoxes.

I should point out that Matt parkman saw the future, but Hiro saw the past, both in a trance like state "spirit walk". So this appears to be some variant on precognitive dreaming.

More and more I question why I bother watching this show anymore.

I'm tellin' yah, it's so much nicer to not watch the show and instead just listen to you guys bitch about it. You get all the info you need without any of the bad acting and stupid "drama".

The haitian is loveable and the deux ex machina so I don't see him dying without the finding a replacement.

Fear man hasn't shown his true purpose yet but I completely expect him to die within the last 4 episodes of the season.

Micah and Monica are alive, but they killed Nana in the comic, and and Charles in the first season. I don't expect to see from Monica or Micah again this season.
(so if they aren't dead, they get shafted for screen time :p)

i wish more of them would actually death spiral instead of this strolling gently and melodramatically toward decomposition.

That's because that would raise the 'blonds are stupid cause they got killed all the time' ratio to 'bad senior citizens are pulling the ropes and then die' death count.

Still, they are using too much time travel tropes, it will eventually all wind up being a dream or never happened.

i kinda wish someone would go back in time and make it all never have happened. by which i mean the t.v. show.

I have decided how Claire should die.

She should stand on train tracks, all morose and doing her 'I can't die and I can't feel anything' schtick again. The train should be a passenger train, carrying the Hiaitian.
