Ah, perched atop this mount like many a wise man before me; waiting for the next lowly supplicant to seek my wisdom.

What do you do with the pieces of a broken heart? And how can a man like me remain in the light? And if life is really as short as they say, then why is the night so long?

Pieces of a broken heart can be used to make a nice mosaic. Or you can grind them down into a fine powder and mix it with water to create a mystical drink.

Snorting broken hearts is fun. Especially if it's the Dust of Broken Hearts™.

Edit: Snorting, not sorting.

Which one is Vaati?

Eh, it means more places to find stuff, and by the end of the game, it's not like you need all those hearts anyway.

dburkhead, rkolter

True. Once you get about 5 hearts, it's pretty hard to die in that game. Except when you get near the bottom of Wallyworld in the Gerudo desert.
