Rock of Love was kinda entertaining in a "train wreck" sorta way sometimes, like when everyone but the one lady went from 0 to drunk-as-fuck in five minutes...yeah.birdie wrote:Celebreality on VH1. mostly, Rock of Love, Celebrity Fit Club and Flavor of Love.

Oh no, not the forty foot tall Egyptian mummy that was found in the American Southwest that turned out to actually be a forty foot tall giant robot that only looked like a mummy, which was controlled by a tiny midget! Re: Guilty Pleasures...?
I like the Sci-Fi stuff... but we just got a Science Channel added to our basic cable service and it is addicting. Like heroin, but you shoot it through your eyes... on the couch...
Anyone else got the new Science Channel? It's pretty badass.

I dunno, I prefer the ones where an irresponsible government agency lets a genetically engineered monster get lose, then kills everyone who finds out about it, but are then ironically killed by the monster they created, which is then killed in some pointless ironic fashion by the uncharismatic survivors.jesusabdullah wrote:Oh no, not the forty foot tall Egyptian mummy that was found in the American Southwest that turned out to actually be a forty foot tall giant robot that only looked like a mummy, which was controlled by a tiny midget! Re: Guilty Pleasures...?
Sci-Fi original movie: "Oh, let's dig a hole to the CORE of the planet. Nobody will know and we won't leave any tailings here in the middle of the city so we can do it in an abandoned warehouse as part of a secret contract. Uh oh! The core is rushing to the surface. Let's put a METAL CAP over the hole!"

Re: Guilty Pleasures...?
Which was the idea? The quote? No, that's actually the plot of a Sci-Fi Original movie. It was called "The Hole" or some other similar name. When the core did finally gush to the surface, it didn't erupt out with the force of the strongest volcano either - it was pretty well contained by the warehouse ceiling.mcDuffies wrote:People stop giving me ideas.
A similar problem actually, with the movie The Core - if the ship found a way from the core to the surface in a matter of minutes... so did the core material pushing them to the surface. But of course, it didn't.
If it was the toothpick idea though... go for it. I'll bail you out.

Re: Guilty Pleasures...?
They were all ideas stolen from some old Twilight Zone episode or something. And that was probably stolen from some ancient SF book, so... steal away!
