If anyone wants to see it.
that was pretty much the only funny part of SNL last night.
Well having more than one funny part would be too much to expect from SNL.

And to think, it was only today that an article in the Denver Post was criticizing the media for going too soft on Palin.
Of course, before that they were saying the media was too soft on Obama. :shifty:
And before that... :-?
My sister has gone completely gaga over McCain because of Palin. It drives me nuts, because she is completely tuning out whenever I point out Palin's numerous flaws. Hell, she even admitted that the main reason she was supporting McCain was because Palin was a woman D: . I seriously need to help her with her critical thinking skills.

Well, I would, but she's very, VERY good at aiming her kicks at a sensitive region of my anatomy. And if I slapped her, that's a good five or ten kicks to that region.

Well, tell her that if she votes for Palin she probably shouldn't expect to have sex ever again unless she wants it for the sole purpose of having children.

Palin also doesn't care about rape victims. In addition to thinking it should be a crime for a rape victim to have an abortion, her town, Wasilla, was the only place in Alaska that charged rape victims for medical exams, prompting the state legislature to pass a law banning the practice.

Everyone always expects female politicians to be more sensible and feminine in their approach to policits, but they turn out to be more agressive and macho than lots of male politicians. I gather that, to climb up in the politics career and to compete with male politicians, what with shauvinistic attitude that probably still rules in those circles, they have to additionally prove themselves and to be even more masculine than males.
Which is a pitty, really. Specially when some of them are trying to sell themselves to female population but actually don't represent female population in any way.

That is barbaric and tantamount to blaming the victim for what happened. This woman makes me sick and the more that's uncovered about her the more I despise her.

"Muslims are bad evil oppressive monsters" she'll smile and call, while she's within spitting distance of the "rape victim should be stoned with the rapist" ideals

" Another valley activist, Philip Munger, says that Palin also helped push the evangelical drive to take over the Mat-Su Borough school board. "She wanted to get people who believed in creationism on the board," said Munger, a music composer and teacher. "I bumped into her once after my band played at a graduation ceremony at the Assembly of God. I said, 'Sarah, how can you believe in creationism -- your father's a science teacher.' And she said, 'We don't have to agree on everything.'

"I pushed her on the earth's creation, whether it was really less than 7,000 years old and whether dinosaurs and humans walked the earth at the same time. And she said yes, she'd seen images somewhere of dinosaur fossils with human footprints in them."

Munger also asked Palin if she truly believed in the End of Days, the doomsday scenario when the Messiah will return. "She looked in my eyes and said, 'Yes, I think I will see Jesus come back to earth in my lifetime.'"

I'd just like to take this opportunity to point out that Wasyphilis is kind of a shithole. Many people only venture there for the box stores. Palmer's definitely the good twin, but as such they don't have Wal*Mart.

Also, that makes me sad re: the school board.
