Wile E. Coyote did in fact catch the Road Runner once or twice, but invariably something bad happened to him. Bugs saved the road runner once (and was the road runner once or twice).

I also hate Jerry. The part of inspiration for mass exterminating of rats in "mcDuffies" came from burning hatred for Jerry.
Of course you hate Jerry. He encourages violence against felines.
Cartoon cats never got the respect they so richly deserved.

You know, I never saw those ones. I do remember Coyote catching Road Runner once, but not the bugs bunny ones.

Tweety always sounded like a guy to me. Gender is a social contruct by the way; the word your looking for is sex.

I loved the way the music matched the action in those old Tom & Jerry cartoons. But yeah, Jerry was an ass. If you live in a freakin' billiard table, what do you think is going to happen? Cats gotta play pool and you better not be living inside the table.

As a fellow coyote, those Road Runner cartoons offend me with their gross inaccuracies and stereotypes.

i remember two "Wile E. Coyote, Genius" cartoons with Bugs Bunny and one where Bugs fills in for the Road Runner. i don't ever remember Wile E. catching the Road Runner, though.

(about 6 months ago, i saw a "bugs bunny v. tazmanian devil" cartoon on the canadian version of cartoon network. it was the one with "wild turkey surprise, and they cut out taz eating the dish. is nothing sacred anymore?!)

Bah! Any real coyote knows how to operate an ACME bat man suit. I'm only half coyote and even I'm a master of the skies!

Since when was Batman's suit green, anyway?

BAH! You're master of the skies until you face-first into a cliff! I commend Jones' IMPECCABLE VERACITY.

Birdie for a badminton game? He was at one point, Sylvester was playing against someone and Tweety ended up getting whacked around a bunch.

I couldn't stand those cartoons as a little kid -- I hated Tweety and the roadrunner and all those other stupid characters. The bad guys were far more interesting.

Well yeah, tweety and the road runner were idiotic jerks. I didn't mind Bugs too much, but Speedy Gonzolas was my favorite. As far as villians go, you can't be Marvin the Martian. Any one who's got just eyes and the rest of their face obscured by darkness is automatically cool, even if they do have a scrub brush on their head.

Ah, Marvin... he was the first cartoon character I learned how to draw.

But, come on! Elmer Fudd had that adorable laugh!

Well, yeah. The other half is good at herding sheep and winning agility competitions.
