"Firefox/Mozilla is fast becoming the second most popular browser if it isn't already."

In what universe? IE is still by far the most popular.

If anyone can tell me how...otherwise, I'll just use the ***calendar*** tag.

That doesn't even make sense Jack. Even if it is the most popular, that doesn't mean firefox isn't the second most popular. My site is 50/50 firefox and internet explorer visitors, according to my counter.

Unfortunatly IE is still the most used browser among the general populous. However I am happy to say that Firefox is quite popular among webcomic readers. The stats from the newsletter say that 54% of users are on Firefox, 25% IE, 11% Safari, and the rest Netscape and Opera. Most people predict that Firefox is going to become the most popular browser in a short amount of time. Currently Firefox is the most used among the "tech savvy" but it's still growing. To overlook Firefox is to deny the inevitable. IE is on it's way out. And I'm not attending it's funeral...

For the CSS, try ***big_csscalendar*** or ***css_calendar***. (not sure about the css_calendar)

depending on where you go and who you speak to.

people on boards where the users are generally somewhat technically astute, for instance these very boards, see a high proportion of firefox browsers.

try somewhere like slashdot and see how many use IE there.

anyhow. W3 stats are that IE makes up about 61% of all, dropping steadily. and Firefox takes up around 25, and that figure grows monthly.

Regarding Firefox, I DID notice that in my Extreme Tracking, alot of people is browsing my comics with Firefox.

I was wondering, to any Firefox users, if my website is displaying correctly? I use Front Page Express, so it took a lot of tweaking to get it right.

BTW, how do I set the CSS? I just put the ***css_calendar*** there and that's it? Anything else I should know about?

I had just finished reading this thread and then went to check the news this morning. The BBC just released an article on Foxfire
BBC News wrote:Firefox is Microsoft Internet Explorer's (IE) main rival in the browser market. Many like it because it is easily customised, and others say it has fewer security flaws than IE.

the wierdo thing I'm seeing now (I'm in the studio right now) is that in netscape it shows a tanish color around the entire site.

Wow! I'm really impressed at the improvement. Nice clean design!

I see the tan, too. On purpose? I don't think it looks half bad.

I tried to avoid commenting on the colors aside from being able to read the text because... not all sites should have the same colors. That'd be weird. Remember sinfest, after all.

Wow... I'm 59/36 IE/Firefox. Guess they are getting popular.

Much better, although I don't think that pukey brown-green works with the purple.

Hello, and welcome to Keenspace. The dominant language is English, the dominant alphabet is roman, and the dominant number system is arabic numerals. Learning to keep them separate is critical for your time here.

I still use IE and am pretty tech savvy. Mainly because Firefox/Mozilla have what in my opinion a very serious design flaw from a security POV (not going to go into detail here, it's very technical).
Plus i'm just fead up by the legions of Firefox zombies/preachers on the net.
"Have any computer problem ? I have no clue what it's about but install Firefox & Linux. And yeah try formating your harddisk."
I've seen that so many times on tech forums it's really getting on my nerves.

It's not a bad browser, but it's nothing special either.
